4/20/08 Spring Food Plot and Land Management Day
Patriot LWM will be taking part in the Second Annual Spring Food Plot and Land Management Day to be held on a private farm just outside Chestertown, Maryland.
Participants will be planting food plots with trained professionals from start to finish. All aspects, including site selection, proper soil sample collecting/analyzing, ground engagement, liming, fertilizing and planting will be covered. A tour will be conducted to discuss tree and natural browse identification along with habitat improvement. On hand will be a certified Forester, Wildlife Biologist, Agronomist and a Tecomate Seed/Plotmaster Representative. The Maryland State Chapter of the Quality Deer Management Association will be fielding questions about Management and signing up new members.
